Alissa Loftus
Hi! My name is Alissa Loftus, and I founded Mayhem Canine in 2024 in San Luis Obispo, California.
I utilize balanced training methods, AKA reinforcing behaviors I want to see more of and discouraging those that I don't. I am passionate about building partnerships with dogs that are free of conflict, and giving those dogs a life that includes true fulfillment, freedom, good health, play, purpose, guidance, clarity of expectations, and love.
A little bit about me personally...
I have been an animal lover since birth, and grew up with dogs, cats, horses, rats, hamsters, birds, snakes, fish, and even frogs. I dove headfirst into dog training in 2022 with my American Bully puppy, Hayley, and the rest is history!
Outside of all things dogs and dog training, I enjoy time with my family, the gym, yoga, indoor cycling, hiking, reading "romantasy" novels, riding horses, exploring different cuisines, and traveling to tropical places.
