Alissa Loftus
Hi! My name is Alissa Loftus, and I founded Mayhem Canine in 2024 in San Luis Obispo, California.
I am passionate about building partnerships between dogs and owners that are free of conflict, and giving those dogs a life that includes true fulfillment, freedom, good health, play, purpose, guidance, clarity of expectations, and love. My special interest within dog training is nosework/detection.
YOU ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS THE PEOPLE YOU SURROUND YOURSELF WITH. I believe that complacency is the enemy of progress. Continuing education is imperative.

A Little BIt About Me Personally:
I have been an animal lover since birth, and grew up with dogs, cats, horses, rats, hamsters, birds, snakes, fish, and even frogs. In 2022, I dove headfirst into training and dog sports with my bully mutt puppy and the rest is history.
Outside of all things dogs and dog training, I enjoy time with my family, the gym, yoga, indoor cycling, hiking, reading "romantasy" novels, riding horses, exploring different cuisines, and traveling to tropical places.
